High-quality materials are crucial for Friulane. Repurposed fabrics such as velvet are carefully selected and hand-sewn to form the base materials.
The upper is layered, cut, and stitched by hand to achieve the desired shape and size. Soles, as per tradition, are made from recycled bicycle tires.
Then, the upper is chain stitched by hand directly to the outsole. There’s still no machine that exists to replicate the artisan’s manual skill. This makes every shoe, well, your shoe.
